    -description: """
      \r\n

      - One of the greatest soul LPs of all time !\r\n
      \r\n
When soul history shifted in the late '60s, Etta James was right at the center of the storm. After a bitter split between Atlantic's Jerry Wexler and FAME Studio's Rick Hall, Hall struck back by inviting Chess Records Atlantic's fiercest rival to bring its biggest stars to Muscle Shoals. Between August and December of 1967, Etta James walked into FAME looking for a creative spark... and walked out with the greatest album of her career: Tell Mama.\r\n
      \r\n
These sessions didn't just revive Etta they reignited her artistry. Powered by the now-legendary Muscle Shoals rhythm section, James delivers some of the most commanding, emotionally charged performances ever put to tape. The title track "Tell Mama" and her scorching take on Otis Redding's "Security" both stormed the charts, pushing Etta back into the national spotlight. But the album's true jewel is found on the flip side: "I'd Rather Go Blind." First handed to her by songwriter and friend Fugi Foster during a prison visit, Etta transformed it into a soul masterwork a performance so definitive it's been covered hundreds of times, yet never surpassed.\r\n
      \r\n
All-analog mastering by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab, 180 gram vinyl pressed by Quality Record Pressings. \r\n
      \r\n
For collectors, Tell Mama isn't just another classic soul LP it's a cornerstone of the genre. This is Etta James at full power, captured in one of the most storied studios in American music, backed by musicians whose sound defined an era. Essential for soul devotees, indispensable for blues fans, and a must-own centerpiece for any serious vinyl collection.

    -nom: "Tell Mama"

Issued by Chess Records at the height of the 1960s folk revival, this classic compilation cleverly reframed Waters' early Chicago recordings with a title and cover that aligned him with a new, younger audience discovering the roots of American music. The irony, of course, is that Muddy didn't need repositioning. He was the source.\r\n
      \r\n
Although most of these tracks were recorded in Chicago studios, often with electric guitar in the mix, the spirit is unmistakably down-home. There's a stark, front-porch authority in the performances spare instrumentation, unvarnished arrangements, and a gritty, conversational vocal style that carries the emotional weight of Delta tradition straight into the urban blues era.\r\n
      \r\n
This is the Muddy Waters who changed the language of modern blues. "Mannish Boy" stomps with primal swagger, its hypnotic riff and call-and-response vocal becoming one of the most recognizable signatures in postwar blues. "Screamin' & Cryin'" and "Just To Be With You" simmer with tension and longing, while "Walking Blues" reconnects directly to the Delta lineage that Waters absorbed in his youth. "Walking In The Park", "Same Thing", and "Canary Bird" round out a program that's stacked with grit, groove, and raw storytelling.

Most of Chess Records' Real Folk Blues albums were compilations of singles recorded over a span of years (in Wolf's case, from 1956 to 1965). This album did not fit the usual definitions of "folk blues," featuring instead Chicago urban blues by an incomparable singer and a host of great sidemen (including Hubert Sumlin and Buddy Guy), but Chess was making a move to remarket the blues to a new audience that had developed with the boom in folk music.\r\n
      \r\n
This was Chess' second LP of Wolf singles, and a comment posted on the Blues Hall of Fame web site about the first LP applies to this one too : "Considering how many of the songs here have become standards in the repertoires of countless blues and rock bands, it's hard to fathom that none of these Wolf 45s sold well enough to make the Billboard R&B charts". The Real Folk Blues classics include "Killing Floor", "Tail Dragger", "Built for Comfort", and "Three Hundred Pounds of Joy".

    -nom: "The Real Folk Blues"
    -description: """
      \r\n
      Musicians : \r\n
Sonny Boy Williamson (harmonica, vocals), Buddy Guy, Robert Lockwood Jr., Eddie King, Matt Murphy, Luther Tucker (guitar), Otis Spann (piano), Lafayette Leake (piano, organ), Willie Dixon, Jack Meyers, Milton Rector (bass), Fred Below, Odie Payne, Al Duncan (drums). \r\n

      \r\n
If you think the blues is just three chords and a cloud of dust, meet the man who turned that cloud into a thunderstorm: Sonny Boy Williamson II. This 1966 Chess Records gem, The Real Folk Blues, is a masterclass in attitude, sly humor, and harmonica sorcery.\r\n
      \r\n
From the hypnotic sway of "Checkin' Up on My Baby" to the swaggering "Bring It On Home" and the heartbreak of "Sad to Be Alone", Sonny Boy's every note feels like he's letting you in on a dangerous secret. His tone ? Razor-sharp and dripping with personality. His phrasing ? As unpredictable as a pool hall hustler. He didn't just play the harmonica he gave it a soul and a swagger that inspired a generation, influencing everyone from The Yardbirds to Led Zeppelin. (Hint : That "Bring It On Home" you love ? Yeah, this is the blueprint).\r\n
      \r\n
Chess Records wasn't just a label; it was an institution of innovation. Muddy gave you muscle. Howlin' Wolf gave you menace. But Sonny Boy ? He gave you mischief and magic in a 10-hole harp. This album captures that Chess-era electricity a raw, amplified blues sound that rewrote the rules and laid the groundwork for rock's golden age.\r\n
      \r\n
This isn't some dusty reprint. This is Matt Lutthans mastering at The Mastering Lab paired with Quality Record Pressings' world-class vinyl craft translation : you're about to hear Sonny Boy like never before. The harmonica's growl, the guitar's bite, the Chess echo chamber's moody vibe all rendered with jaw-dropping clarity on a 180 gram dead-quiet pressing.\r\n
      \r\n
If you're building a serious blues collection or just want to experience one of the most influential harmonica voices of all time this is non-negotiable. Crank it up, and prepare to marvel at a man who made a small instrument sound bigger than life.

    -nom: "The Real Folk Blues"
    -description: """
      \r\n
      Musicians : \r\n
Sonny Boy Williamson (harmonica, vocals), Buddy Guy, Robert Lockwood Jr., Eddie King, Matt Murphy, Luther Tucker (guitar), Otis Spann (piano), Lafayette Leake (piano, organ), Willie Dixon, Jack Meyers, Milton Rector (bass), Fred Below, Odie Payne, Al Duncan (drums). \r\n
      \r\n
      - Sonny Boy Williamson "The Real Folk Blues" !\r\n
      - Chess Records 75 Series from Chess Records and Acoustic Sounds !\r\n
      - Brilliant collection of postwar blues !\r\n
      - Electrifying tracks include "Bring It On Home", and "One Way Out" !\r\n
      - All-analog mastering by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab !\r\n
      - 180 gram vinyl pressed at Quality Record Pressings !\r\n

Little Walter The Best of Little Walter is the album that became a cornerstone of Chicago Blues and one that turned a pocket-sized harp into a weapon of musical mass seduction !\r\n
      \r\n
Originally released on Chess Records in 1958, this compilation is stacked with Walter Jacobs' most iconic sides : "Juke" (the only harmonica instrumental to ever top the Billboard R&B chart), "My Babe" (a Willie Dixon-penned classic), "Blues With a Feeling", "Off the Wall", and more. These tracks didn't just set the standard they became the standard for electric blues harp, influencing everyone from Paul Butterfield to Mick Jagger and beyond. Walter amplified the harmonica literally-plugging it into a microphone and pushing it through an amp for a dirty, distorted tone that changed the sound of blues forever.\r\n
      \r\n
This isn't just a "greatest hits" package; it's a history lesson in how Chess Records built the DNA of modern music. Walter stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf in Chess' legendary lineup, and his innovations helped shape rock, soul, and blues for decades to come.\r\n
      \r\n
This reissue smokes. Mastered by Matt Lutthans at The Mastering Lab from the original Chess tapes the same golden ears behind numerous other reissue classics, combined with Quality Record Pressings' uncompromising vinyl craft. The result ? The raw power of Walter's amplified harp leaps off the 180 gram vinyl with detail and punch that will make your system blush.\r\n
      \r\n
This isn't background music. This is a front-row seat to the birth of electric blues, with dead-quiet pressings that let every reed vibration, every wailing bend, hang in the air like cigarette smoke in a sweaty club.

      \r\n
      \r\n
L’accompagnement musical reste volontairement minimaliste.
      \r\n
      \r\n
Few albums in the blues canon carry the authority and lasting impact of Muddy Waters' "Folk Singer". Originally released in 1964 and presented here in its pure, intimate mono form this is the only all-acoustic recording Muddy ever made. The result is a striking return to the Delta feel that shaped him, transformed into what many consider the first, and still the definitive, blues concept album.\r\n
      \r\n
Worried that the rising folk boom might pull listeners away from the blues, Chess Records sent Muddy Waters into the studio for an all-acoustic session and the results were nothing short of revelatory. Joined by Willie Dixon and a young Buddy Guy, Waters delivers an "unplugged" performance that stands today as one of the most captivating crossover moments in the genre's history.\r\n

      - All-analog mastering by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab at Blue Heaven Studios !\r\n

      \r\n
Audiophile vinyl reissue series launches with two blues classics by Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf\r\n
      \r\n
Muddy Waters' The Best of Muddy Waters is a powerful collection of blues songs that include essential tracks such as "Hoochie Coochie Man", and "Rollin' Stone". If the blues had a Mount Rushmore, Muddy Waters' face would be carved front and center, cigar in hand, guitar slung low, smirk that says "You're about to feel this in your bones".\r\n
      \r\n
If there's one record that cemented Waters' legend (and made Chess Records the powerhouse that rewrote American music), it's The Best of Muddy Waters. Originally released in 1958, this was Chess Records' very first LP a bold move in an era when blues records were singles-driven. Leonard and Phil Chess weren't just pressing vinyl; they were pressing the future. The album gathered 12 scorching sides recorded between 1948 and 1954, each one a blueprint for modern electric blues and a direct ancestor of rock 'n' roll.\r\n
      \r\n
      Why It Matters\r\n
      \r\n
      • For Muddy Waters : This album wasn't just a compilation it was his coronation. Tracks such as "I Just Want to Make Love to You" and "I'm Ready" showcase Muddy's swagger : raw, electric, and dangerous enough to make polite society clutch their pearls.\r\n
      \r\n
      • For Chess Records : This LP marked the label's leap into the long-playing format, proving blues could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with jazz and pop on the hi-fi shelf. Spoiler : It sounded better there, too.\r\n
      \r\n
      • For Music History : Every guitar riff that ever strutted out of a Marshall stack owes a drink to this record. Rolling Stones ? Led Zeppelin ? Eric Clapton ? They didn't just love Muddy they worshipped him.\r\n
      \r\n
      Tracks That Slap (and Groove)\r\n
      \r\n
      • "Hoochie Coochie Man" - Willie Dixon's swaggering masterpiece that gave Muddy the myth-making juice.\r\n
      \r\n
      • "Rollin' Stone" - The slow burn that not only inspired a British band's name but practically birthed a movement.\r\n
      \r\n
The Best of Muddy Waters isn't just a greatest-hits record, it's a cultural document. A snapshot of when the Delta plugged in, Chicago turned the volume up, and American music changed forever. Own this and you're holding history that still swings like a wrecking ball.\r\n
      \r\n
Each release in the Chess Records 75 Series is remastered from the original analog tapes by Matt Lutthans at The Mastering Lab, pressed on 180 gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings (QRP) and housed in archival quality tip-on gatefold jackets, offering both audiophiles and collectors a premium listening experience.

Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time rated No. 477/500 !\r\n
      \r\n
Howlin' Wolf's Moanin' in the Moonlight is a compilation album released by Chess Records in 1959, comprising songs recorded between 1951 and 1959 previously issued as singles, including the iconic hit "Smokestack Lightnin'". As Rolling Stone put it, "The Wolf had the biggest roar in Chicago blues he raved in a fierce growl, backed by explosive playing from guitar geniuses Willie Johnson and Hubert Sumlin. His 1959 debut album has some of the meanest electric blues ever heard... from the eerie railroad drone 'Smokestack Lightnin' to the lowdown 'I Asked for Water (She Gave Me Gasoline)".\r\n
      \r\n
Founded in 1950 by Polish immigrant brothers Leonard and Phil Chess, Chess Records emerged from the south side of Chicago and enhanced and transformed the blues from folk music to popular sound. Wolf added the raw, untamed electricity that turned the blues into a primal force. With Willie Dixon's songwriting magic, Hubert Sumlin's razor-sharp guitar lines, and Wolf's voice a voice that sounds like it was carved out of granite with a switchblade Moanin' in the Moonlight became an anchor of the Chess empire.\r\n
      \r\n
Each release in the Chess Records 75 Series is remastered from the original analog tapes by Matt Lutthans at The Mastering Lab, the wizard who understands that the Wolf's growl should shake your floorboards, not your ears! Likewise, if vinyl had a luxury spa, Quality Record Pressings would be it. Dead-quiet surfaces, 180 gram heft, and grooves so pristine it's Chess mono magic, restored with soul! It's big, it's warm, and the sound is alive. Like Wolf himself just walked into your listening room. Lastly, reissues in this series are housed in archival quality tip-on gatefold jackets, offering both audiophiles and collectors a premium listening experience. \r\n
      \r\n
Bottom line Moanin' in the Moonlight isn't just an album; it's the cornerstone of electric blues. It's the sound of raw power before marketing departments figured out how to package it. Spin this reissue and rediscover why blues fans treat this record like sacred text because when the Wolf howls, the world still listens.

      - Etta James "At Last !" (Stereo) !\r\n
      - Chess Records 75 Series from Chess Records and Acoustic Sounds !\r\n
      - Landmark album and shimmering vocals blending soul, jazz, blues and gospel !\r\n
      - Timeless tracks "At Last", and "Something's Got A Hold on Me" !\r\n
      - All-analog mastering by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab !\r\n
      - 180 gram vinyl pressed at Quality Record Pressings !\r\n
      \r\n
Etta James's debut album, originally released in 1961 on the Chess subsidiary Argo Records. The album's title-track and "All I Could Do Was Cry" (co-written by future Motown founder Berry Gordy) both went to N° 2 on the R&B charts. \r\n
      \r\n
When Etta James stepped to the mic in 1960 to record her debut for Chess Records, the world didn't just get an album it got a cultural landmark. At Last ! was a velvet-wrapped knockout punch that still sends chills down spines six decades later.\r\n
      \r\n
This was the record that turned Etta from a teenage R&B firebrand into a full-fledged legend. Backed by lush orchestration and dripping with raw emotion, she could make heartbreak sound like poetry and longing feel like a victory lap. Chess Records knew they had something special, and they delivered an LP that blended blues grit, jazz sophistication, and pop elegance in a way nobody had done before.\r\n
      \r\n
Mastered by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab from the original Chess tapes, he's unlocked the depth, the lush, breathing magic in James' performance. Pressed at Quality Record Pressings, this is perfection under the needle flat, silent, heavy 180 gram vinyl.

      Musicians :\r\n
Chuck Berry (guitar, vocals), Johnnie Johnson, Lafayette Leake (piano), Willie Dixon (double bass, bass), George Smith (bass), Bo Diddley (guitar), Otis Spann (piano), Jerome Green (maracas), The Moonglows (backing vocals), Fred Below, Ebbie (Ebby) Hardy, Jaspar (Jasper) Thomas (drums).\r\n
      \r\n
      - Chuck Berry "Berry Is On Top" (Mono) !\r\n
      - Chess Records 75 Series from Chess Records and Acoustic Sounds !\r\n
      - Rock 'n' roll anthems abound, includes "Johnny B. Goode" and "Roll Over Beethoven" !\r\n
      - All-analog mastering by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab !\r\n
      - 180 gram vinyl pressed at Quality Record Pressings !\r\n
      \r\n
Chuck Berry didn't just play rock 'n' roll; he invented its swagger. Released in 1959 on Chess Records, Berry On Top is where Berry slammed his flag into the musical mountaintop and declared, "This land is rock 'n' roll, and I own the real estate". This album and its anthems that built rock "Johnny B. Goode", "Roll Over Beethoven" was a starter kit for everything that came after. The riffs ? Every garage band you've ever heard learned them here. The attitude ? Let's just say Elvis may have swiveled his hips but Chuck wrote the manual.\r\n
      \r\n
Chess Records was the beating heart of American music in the 1950s the place where blues went electric, soul started to simmer, and rock 'n' roll took its first wild steps. With Berry, and others, Chess didn't just join the rock 'n' roll revolution, they launched it. Berry On Top showed that blues roots and a country twang could collide and create something explosive !\r\n
      \r\n
This reissue is the real deal as well. Mastered by Matt Lutthans at The Mastering Lab, the sound makes Berry's riffs snap like live wires while keeping the bottom end tight and warm. The Quality Record Pressings vinyl is so flat and silent, you'll hear every nuance every pick scrape, every finger pop, every ounce of Chess mojo.\r\n
      \r\n
Berry On Top is a cornerstone of rock, where swagger met swing, and a guitar god was born.
