      - Mastered by Frank Arkwright and Ryan K. Smith at Abbey Road Studios in London, from the original master tape !\r\n
      - Two 45 RPM LPs pressed on 180 gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings / Also on Hybrid Multichannel SACD !\r\n

Uprising would be the final studio album featuring Bob Marley & the Wailers to be released during Marley's lifetime. Prophetically, it also contains some of the band's finest crafted material, as if they were cognizant that this would be their final outing.\r\n
      \r\n
Released in 1980, Uprising stands as one of Bob Marley's most poignant and spiritually charged albums, embodying both his enduring reggae genius and his reflective, almost prophetic musings on life and faith. What makes Uprising particularly unique in Marley's discography is its duality-balancing socially conscious anthems with deeply personal expressions of faith, hope, and mortality.\r\n
      \r\n
Tracks such as the iconic "Redemption Song", with its acoustic simplicity and universal message of liberation, and the haunting "Forever Loving Jah", reveal a man at peace with his spirituality. Meanwhile, songs such as "Could You Be Loved" deliver infectious grooves and crossover appeal, proving Marley's ability to blend message and melody effortlessly.\r\n
      \r\n
Critics and fans alike hailed Uprising as a high point in Marley's career. It received acclaim for its mature sound and cohesive vision, with reviewers highlighting its raw emotional power. While it didn't achieve the explosive commercial success of Exodus or Kaya, it cemented Marley's status as a global ambassador for reggae and freedom.\r\n
      \r\n
For Marley fans, it's more than an album it's a testament to his enduring spirit.\r\n
      \r\n
Now, Analogue Productions gives Uprising the deluxe treatment this album, with its rich heritage, deserves. Pressed on 180 gram vinyl pressed at 45 RPM at Quality Record Pressings. Housed in a deluxe Old Style Tip-On Jacket from Stoughton Printing.

"Soular Energy with the Ray Brown Trio, originally issued on Concord in 1985, has long been considered both great straight ahead jazz and an audiophile treasure... none (of the previous reissues) come even remotely close to this double 45 RPM edition mastered by Kevin Gray at his Cohearent Mastering and pressed at QRP. ... It has never sounded better than it does on this double 45. The room is small, the miking close, the sonic excitement intense! The longevity of this record's popularity and so many others on Concord proves that while Carl E. Jefferson was a used car salesman turned record company owner, he did not sell lemons! Very highly recommended !" Music = 8/11; Sound = 10/11 - Michael Fremer, AnalogPlanet.com. Read Fremer's full review here: http://www.analogplanet.com/content/soular-energy-sounding-better-ever\r\n
      \r\n
"This is one of my favorite LPs of all time... My heart literally skipped a beat when I saw that Analogue Productions was bringing us a 180 gram), 45 RPM version of this LP. To top it off, it would be pressed at the new Quality Record Pressings plant and be mastered by Kevin Gray. One more thing, at its price of $50, it's a bargain compared to what near mint or mint original Concord pressings are going for, much less the ridiculous price of the Japan pressing... This reissue does everything the original does, but it does it better. First, as quiet as my copy was, this pressing just allows the music to appear in my room with no hint that it is being played off vinyl. Second, there is just something relaxing about the sound of a well-done 45 RPM pressing. It loses none of its presence, clarity or transient speed, but at the same time it is more relaxed and simply sounds more beautiful". - Jack Roberts, dagogo.com\r\n
      \r\n
Ray Brown, Gene Harris and Gerryck King are spectacular in this 1984 recording. Red Holloway (tenor sax) and a rare appearance by the great Emily Remler (guitar) round out the original musicians.\r\n
      \r\n
This is a completely new mastering and pressing of this famous release. Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio did exceptional mastering work for this double LP, cut at 45 RPM from the original master tape, and pressed by none other than the world's finest LP manufacturing plant, Quality Record Pressings. Gary Salstrom, then QRP's general manager and master plating technician, plated the lacquers, and lastly we redesigned the artwork for this deluxe Stoughton Printing Old Style Tip-On gatefold jacket presentation.\r\n
      \r\n
"This album is important as an early milestone in pianist Gene Harris' second career. Harris, who had led the popular Three Sounds in the 1960s, had been living in obscurity in Boise, ID, for several years before he was urged by bassist Ray Brown to come to the West Coast for some recording sessions. Harris became a permanent member of Brown's regular trio for quite a few years before launching his own quartet. He had lost none of his technique, soul, or swing in the interim, as he shows throughout this fine release. Seven of the eight numbers (highlighted by 'Exactly Like You', 'Teach Me Tonight', and 'Sweet Georgia Brown') feature Brown, Harris, and drummer Gerryck King playing soulful bop, while 'Mistreated But Undefeated Blues' adds guitarist Emily Remler and the tenor of Red Holloway. An excellent effort". - AllMusic

      - The Ray Brown Trio "Soular Energy" !\r\n
      - Mastering by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, cut at 45 RPM from the original master tape !\r\n
      - Double LP pressed on 180 gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings !\r\n
      - Stoughton Printing Old Style Tip-On gatefold jacket with redesigned artwork !\r\n

- AllMusic

With his astonishingly accomplished guitar playing, Stevie Ray Vaughan ignited the blues revival of the '80s. Vaughan drew equally from bluesmen like Albert King, Otis Rush and Hubert Sumlin and rock 'n' roll players like Jimi Hendrix and Lonnie Mack, as well as the stray jazz guitarist like Kenny Burrell, developing a uniquely eclectic and fiery style that sounded like no other guitarist, regardless of genre.\r\n
      \r\n
Stevie Ray had made music beyond the powers of most musicians but for this 1990 studio collaboration he returned to the things he loved: upbeat music and working with the brother he idolized his whole life. In his early years, Stevie Ray Vaughan often remarked that he would like to do an album with his brother. He fulfilled that wish in his very last studio performance, which was released nearly a month after his death. The liner notes end with "Thanks Mama V. for letting us play". With slick production from Nile Rodgers and employing neither guitarist's band (Double Trouble nor the Fabulous Thunderbirds), this is bluesy, but far from purist. Jimmie makes his vocal debut on "White Boots" and "Good Texan" and the brothers blur the lines between their expected guitar styles - Stevie sometimes going for a less sustained twang, Jimmie moving into Albert King territory.\r\n
      \r\n
As we did with our vaunted box set reissues, Texas Hurricane, again Analogue Productions is bringing you the finest-sounding Stevie Ray Vaughan collections ever preserved on 200 gram vinyl. Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound cut the lacquers for the LPs using the ultimate VMS 80 cutting lathe. Gary Salstrom handled the plating and the vinyl was pressed of course at Quality Record Pressings. \r\n

      \r\n
      \r\n

      - The Wes Montgomery Trio "A Dynamic New Sound : Guitar/Organ/Drums" !\r\n

      \r\n
The Wes Montgomery Trio "A Dynamic New Sound : Guitar/Organ/Drums", was the album that said : "Hello world, Wes has arrived and he brought friends !".\r\n
      \r\n
Before Full House brought the fire, The Wes Montgomery Trio brought the vibe. Released in 1959, this was Montgomery's debut on Riverside Records and let's just say, he didn't exactly tiptoe onto the scene. He kicked the door in with thumb-picking swagger, octave magic, and tone so warm it could toast bread.\r\n
      \r\n
So, what's the deal with this album ?\r\n
      \r\n
It's right there in the subtitle : Guitar. Organ. Drums. That's it. No bass, no brass, no safety net. Just Wes on guitar, the criminally underrated Melvin Rhyne on Hammond B-3 organ (talk about groove!), and Paul Parker on drums keeping it tight and tasteful. The result ? A sound so lean and soulful, it practically invented the jazz organ trio aesthetic we know and love today. Wes' tone? Velvet meets voltage. Melvin's organ work ? Church on Sunday meets smoky after-hours club. Paul's drumming? Like a good bartender never flashy, but always exactly what you need.\r\n
      \r\n
This was a bold move : no bass, no piano, just pure stripped-down swing and it worked. Why ? Because these guys listened to each other. They locked in and gave Wes the space to shine. You can hear the joy in the playing, the energy of three guys who knew they were onto something.\r\n
      \r\n
Jazz fans didn't just nod politely they flipped. Critics called it fresh, hip, and boundary-pushing. Montgomery's style, which fused bluesy soulfulness with dazzling technical control, immediately caught ears. This wasn't just a good debut it was a statement. And it sold, helping launch Wes into the jazz stratosphere.\r\n
      \r\n
We've given this timeless album the full Analogue Productions treatment: Mastering by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman at Acoustech Mastering, double LP cut at 45 RPM and pressed on 180 gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings! Plus it's housed in a Stoughton Printing Old Style Tip-On gatefold jacket with scuff-resistant matte finish.\r\n
      \r\n
This classic album belongs in your jazz collection because it symbolizes the moment the legend began. It's raw, it's real, and it's ridiculously cool. If jazz history were a superhero movie, The Wes Montgomery Trio would be the thrilling origin story. Plus, it grooves hard enough to make your neighbors forgive you for playing it at full volume (again).\r\n
      \r\n
Go ahead make room on the shelf. This one earns it.

      - Mastered AAA by Kevin Gray from the original analog master tape !\r\n

      \r\n
Despite various reissue formats over several decades, the seven original LPs contained in Thelonious Monk — The Riverside Tenor Sessions stood perfectly well on their own at the time of initial release and remain among the highest achievements of a truly golden age. Recorded and released between 1956 and 1961, these seven Monk combo albums were critical in Monk's emergence from a decade of ridicule and neglect to his status at the pinnacle of the jazz pantheon.\r\n
      \r\n
One of the most significant events in jazz took place in the latter part of 1957 at the Five Spot in New York, where the Thelonious Monk quartet featuring John Coltrane on tenor saxophone was in residence. The music that Monk made with Coltrane quickly attained the status of legend. Although the group remained together for only a half-year, those who were lucky enough to witness them play called it electrifying.\r\n
      \r\n
The recordings on Thelonious Monk with John Coltrane are more Monk's than Coltrane's Monk was signed to Riverside at the time and the set mixes in three quartet tracks that have the pair working with Wilbur Ware on bass and Shadow Wilson on drums plus two more from the sessions for the famous Monk's Music record alternate takes from those sessions, with a larger group that features Gigi Gryce on alto, Coleman Hawkins on additional tenor, and Ray Copeland on trumpet! Quartet tracks include "Ruby My Dear", "Trinkle Trinkle", and "Nutty" with the larger group on alternates of "Off Minor" and "Epistrophy" and a solo performance by Monk on an alternate of "Functional".\r\n
      \r\n
In addition to some of his best recorded piano performances and more than two dozen of his profoundly personal compositions, the albums in this reissue series provide an overview of the era's major tenor saxophonists, with contributions by Sonny Rollins, Coleman Hawkins, John Coltrane, Johnny Griffin, Charlie Rouse and Harold Land. Max Roach, Art Blakely, Roy Haynes and Thad Jones are among the other jazz immortals featured on the essential Brilliant Corners, Monk's Music : Thelonious Monk Septet, Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane, Thelonious in Action, Misterioso, 5 by Monk by 5 and Quartet Plus Two At The Blackhawk.

    -description: """
      - Live in 1962, Tony Bennett at Carnegie Hall, a testament to Bennett's live vocal ability !\r\n
      - Mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound from the original analog 3 track tapes !\r\n
      - 180 gram double LP plated and pressed at Quality Record Pressings !\r\n
      - Deluxe "old style" tip-on heavyweight gatefold jackets by Stoughton Printing !\r\n
      - Featuring original studio photography expanded and enhanced !\r\n
      \r\n
"The sound here, as mastered from the original 3-track masters by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound, is as fabulous as the music. The balance between Bennett and the orchestra is near perfect, with a lively sense of air, space and dynamic snap. The Columbia engineers captured Bennett's voice and the instruments with the relaxed naturalness they created on this stellar evening". - Music = 4.5/5; Sonics = 4.5/5 - Wayne Garcia, The Absolute Sound, July 2015.\r\n
      \r\n
"The original of this double LP set was a sonic spectacular that now sounds veiled and somewhat distant compared to this stupidly, insanely spectacular-sounding reissue cut for the first time from the edited original 3-track tape. Two recorders were utilized, probably either one for backup or for when reels were about to run out of tape. We know the reels were edited both because the complete concert was eventually issued on CD and because here, with the high resolution mastering and jet black backgrounds of the QRP pressing, you can better hear the edits-not that they distract from the proceedings". Music = 10/11; Sound = 11/11 - Michael Fremer, AnalogPlanet.com. To read Fremer's full review, click here.\r\n
      \r\n
This is it, the live, double LP where the magical Tony Bennett created indelible memories! Tony Bennett at Carnegie Hall is the Tony Bennett album to buy for any Bennett fan or those just introduced to his music. And you'll never hear or experience it presented in finer fashion than from this outstanding reissue by Analogue Productions and Quality Record Pressings !\r\n
      \r\n
We've given Tony Bennett at Carnegie Hall the deluxe reissue treatment. Starting with premier mastering by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound from the original analog tapes. Then plating and presssing by Gary Salstrom and the crew at Quality Record Pressings, where the finest quality LPs in the world are pressed. But it doesn't stop there: We've expanded and enhanced the original studio photography, which was supplied by Sony to our graphic designers. And we've wrapped up the whole package in a deluxe "old-school" tip-on gatefold jacket from Stoughton Printing !\r\n
      \r\n
Originally recorded in 1962, Tony Bennett at Carnegie Hall is a testament to Bennett's live vocal ability, writes AllMusic.com. Backed by the Ralph Sharon Orchestra, Bennett moves far beyond his standard musical catalogue.\r\n
      \r\n
Along with standards like "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" and "Just in Time", Bennettreached out to create great medleys such as "(I Like New York in June) How About You / April in Paris", that automatically become his as soon as they are performed. Altogether there are 28 tracks on the album. Most remarkable is the clarity of the recording of the concert. If not for the tremendous applause of the audience, you could swear that Bennett had recorded each track in the studio. A masterpiece !

      - Tony Joe White's 1969 album debut featuring the hit "Polk Salad Annie" !\r\n
      - Mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio from the original analog tape !\r\n
      - Plated and 180 gram pressing by Quality Record Pressings !\r\n
      - Tip-on gatefold jacket by Stoughton Printing !\r\n
      - Highly recommended for fans of Creedence Clearwater Revival, and J.J. Cale !\r\n
      \r\n
Singer-songwriter Tony Joe White's most well-known hit led off this way "Some of ya'll still never been down South... down there we've got a plant, looks somethin' like a turnip green. 'Cept it ain't".\r\n
      \r\n
"Polk Salad Annie" was the song and cadence for delivering White's unmistakable swamp rock sound, which called to mind the sound John Fogerty whipped up on Creedence Clearwater Rivival's Bayou Country and Green River.\r\n
      \r\n
Released in 1969, White's album debut Black and White contains some of the best swamp-folk-soul-funk of the era. White grew up in the soggy marshlands of Louisiana, his real-deal deep voice sounding like it's dredged from the bottom of the Delta. Rural life in the dirty south provided the inspiration for witty, sometimes funny, and sometimes poignant lyrics (later Tony Joe would pen the smash "Rainy Night In Georgia").\r\n
      \r\n
This Analogue Productions edition is the highest-quality reissue of Black and White released to date. It was mastered from the original analog tape by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, and features unsurpassed plating and pressing on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl by Quality Record Pressings, makers of the finest-sounding LPs in the world. The dead-silent LP playing surface captures White's voice and his strong and funky backing band in true analog majesty.\r\n
      \r\n
Besides "Annie", side one of Black and White includes several other White originals. AllMusic judges the best of these to be "Willie and Laura Mae Jones", a song about race relations with an arrangement similar to "Ballad of Billie Joe", and "Soul Francisco", a short piece of funky fluff that had been a big hit in Europe in 1968. "Aspen, Colorado" presages the later "Rainy Night in Georgia", a White composition popularized by Brook Benton.\r\n
      \r\n
The second side of Black and White consists of covers of hits of the era, with the funky "Who's Making Love" and "Scratch My Back" faring better than the slow stuff. Dusty Springfield had a minor hit with "Willie and Laura Mae Jones", and White's songs were recorded by other performers through the years, but "Polk Salad Annie" and the gators that got her granny provided his only march in the American hit parade.\r\n
      \r\n
Highly recommended for fans of Creedence Clearwater Revival, J.J. Cale, and 1960s soul !

"This superb reissue is a fitting tribute to the finest purveyor ever of 'Swamp Rock,' White having passed late last year. Although best known for composing the Elvis hit 'Polk Salad Annie', and 'Rainy Night In Georgia', a smash for Brook Benton in 1970, his own LPs were also something special. Three seconds into this 1973 release and your jaw will drop: the most melodic, tactile lower registers this side of a Kodo album. Every composition mixes wit, wisdom and winsomeness, with musicianship of the highest order it was recorded in Nashville with sidemen including David Briggs and Norbert Putnam. Above it all, though, is a voice so textured and deep that it makes J.J. Cale sound like Klaus Nomi". - Sound Quality: 95% - Ken Kessler, Hi Fi News, June 2019\r\n
      \r\n
"I have been tempted to buy a repress of this title... I'm pleased I waited, very pleased! And I can stop looking for a quality used original too. This is one of those intimate albums that gets better the later in the day you happen to sit with it; I know it'll get even better with a glass of wine on a warm summer evening too. Kevin Gray mastered, nothing else need be said. ... I'm not so sure about this not being a top seller; anyone who enjoys music would be a fool to miss out on this. With only 1,000 pressed initially it may well be that it fulfills that prophesy, so get it while you can. I hope demand results in another pressing run... If you "do" 45 RPM cuts, what are you waiting for ? You really can't go wrong or will regret picking this one up". - Gordon Johnson, Jimpress\r\n

"Audiophiles, this is a must-have LP. The sound is completely natural with no studio artifacts. What stands out, though, are the timbral qualities of the instruments and White's great voice. Organ, piano and bass are there for harmonic effect, but the sounds of the drums and guitars are some of the best I've heard from my system. Originally recorded in 1973, this reissue LP jumped to the top of my short list for Audiophilia's Star Recordings of the Year, 2013". Anthony Kershaw, Audiophilia.com, May 2013\r\n
      \r\n
"From the fantastic opening groove of 'Saturday Nite in Oak Grove, Louisiana' to soul searching ballads like 'For Ol' Times Sake' and 'Ol' Mother Earth', Homemade Ice Cream will sustain your interest with great melodies and superb playing. And all are sung with charisma and sensitivity featuring White's husky baritone voice." Anthony Kershaw, Audiophilia.com, May 2013\r\n
      \r\n
"This is, after all, the man who gave 'Polk Salad Annie' to Elvis (although White did hit the charts with it) and 'Rainy Night in Georgia' to Brook Benton, as well as creating hits for Dusty Springfield, Hank Williams Jr. and many others... TJW is swampier than the rest, so this will appeal to anyone who used to read ZigZag". Sound Quality : 86% - Ken Kessler, Hi-Fi News, August 2012\r\n
      \r\n
"Not a song on this album is less than compelling and some are downright searing. White's vulnerability and ability to convey heartbreak and hurt put him in Roy Orbison's class, though he expresses these feelings less bombastically... The sound starts out really good but just gets better as it goes, with side two's final four tracks being astonishingly transparent and intimate-sounding - as if you're sitting on the other side of the microphones... The Quality Record Pressings pressing quality is state of the art". Music = 8/11; Sound = 9/11 - Michael Fremer, MusicAngle.com, March 2012\r\n

"... Among the mass of truly memorable and talented songwriters who practiced their craft in the late 1960s and early '70s, Tony Joe White is the quiet master... It's slightly mind-twisting to think that the LP reissue movement is now digging deep into major-label catalogs the way CD reissues once did. Dig on !" Performance = 3.5/5; Sonics = 4/5 - Robert Baird, Stereophile, January 2012\r\n

"You might not know this record", says Chad, "but give it a try and I guarantee you will be blown away".\r\n
      \r\n
You may or may not know of Tony Joe White, but we all know his two most famous songs "Polk Salad Annie" and "Rainy Night In Georgia". This record is up to the standards of those great numbers. So soulful, humid, rich and textured. Or as Tony Joe would say, "It's swampy".\r\n
      \r\n
And because it's such a classic, such a southern musical touchstone, we've gone and upped the ante making this standout a 45 RPM double LP release. Veteran audiophiles know and hear the difference. With more LP real estate, inner groove distortion is reduced and tracking by your stereo cartridge is improved. That's a major sonic advantage ! Mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio from the original analog tape, this LP sounds phenomenal from the first note to the last fade out.\r\n
      \r\n
The last four songs on side two of this album are going to positively floor you. They are so sparse and bluesy and emotional. And the sound is as good as the music. With this new QRP pressing, the sound is so good it's tape-like. So solid and jet-black is the foundation from which the music just jumps. Ya gotta hear it to understand what we're trying to describe. It's one of those jaw-hit-the-floor, sit-in-stunned-silence, goose-bump-raising, tears-in-your-eyes records. You know, the kind we're all looking for as audiophiles ? \r\n
      \r\n
When Chad decided to reissue this album, he knew that it wasn't going to be a top-seller. But it's one of his all-time favorites for music and sound, and we feel that whoever takes a chance on this one is going to be richly rewarded. We gotta figure this one is going to end up being one of the favorites of some of our customers, too. If you trust us at all, you can buy with great confidence.\r\n

Homeade Ice Cream was originally released in 1973 on Warner Bros. and was co-produced by White and legendary Atlantic producer Tom Dowd. It's White's sixth overall record and his third for Warner Bros. This is very much a back porch acoustic affair. The music has the space to breathe, one of the reasons for the life-like sound.

Now with our 45 RPM release, plated and pressed at QRP, the best-sounding version of this historic album gives listeners an even richer sonic experience. The dead-quiet double LP, with the music spread over four sides of vinyl, reduces distortion and high frequency loss as the wider-spaced grooves let your stereo cartridge track more accurately.\r\n

-nom: "Stardust (2 LP) 45 RPM"
    -informationComplementaire: null
    -description: """
      - Willie's 1978 take on his favorite pop standards !\r\n
      - Includes his classic versions of "Stardust" "Georgia On My Mind" and others !\r\n
      - Mastered from the original analog tapes by Bernie Grundman !\r\n
      - 180 gram double LPs plated and pressed by Quality Record Pressings !\r\n
      - Heavyweight gatefold tip-on old-style jacket from Stoughton Printing !\r\n
      \r\n
"While more expensive, Analogue Productions' 45RPM reissue makes the piano seem more life-sized and restores all the overtones missing from the earlier reissues all the while delivering enhanced percussion detail and tauter bass. I'm certain that somewhere ahead of the master tape, recording engineers Bradley Hartman and Donivan Cowart slowed down the tape in places for effect. Listen to the opening bars of 'September Song' where the knobs got turned a little too slow. No matter. Analogue Productions' Stardust again earns a super disc designation by today's higher standards". - 5/5 stars, Dennis Davis, vinylreviews.com. Read the whole review here.\r\n
      \r\n
"This is a vocal record that even opera lovers treasure... these were unexpected vocal knockouts from a shaggy source... The 45 RPM pressing on 180 gram vinyl shows the impeccable care that Analogue Productions lavishes on all its reissues. The higher speed means shorter sides (in this case, 45 minutes of music spread over two discs), and while it may be an audio mirage, the sound is more alive, more present than on a 33 1/3 RPM LP". - Editor's Pick, Recording Of The Month - Performance = 5/5, Sonics = 5/5 - Robert Baird, Stereophile, March 2018\r\n
      \r\n
Willie Nelson has long been honored as a genuine legend, and his songs and concerts are loved worldwide. Though his roots are in country, Willie's musical influences are as broad as the Texas skies, unlimited to any one genre.\r\n
      \r\n
"These are my favorite songs. My favorite all-time songs," Willie says". I knew there were millions of people who liked these songs and would love to hear them again. I grew up with them... they're some of the first songs I learned to play".\r\n
      \r\n
Here is the familiar Stardust, yet in a way so striking from any versions that have come before. For starters, for this Analogue Productions reissue we turned to the masters, literally. We insisted on the master tapes and no less a skilled mastering engineer than the award-winning Bernie Grundman to cut the lacquers for this project. Then, naturally, we put Gary Salstrom and his crew at Quality Record Pressings to work to plate and press the finest-sounding 180-gram LPs. We bring them to you housed in a heavyweight tip-on, old style gatefold jacket from Stoughton Printing. Unmatched quality; unmatched sound that's the way Analogue Productions rolls.\r\n
      \r\n
It turned out that Willie had some convincing to do to get his record label on board with Stardust. "Why be predictable ?" Willie asked Columbia Records executive Nick Blackburn, after the latter resisted the Red Headed Strangers decision to make an album of classic pop tunes.\r\n
      \r\n
Willie ultimately scored big-time with this quintessential addition to his album catalog. The songs Moonlight in Vermont, All of Me, Don't Get Around Much Anymore are lovingly arranged here by Booker T. Jones of Green Onions fame and recorded in Nelson's inimitable style in Emmylou Harris' house.\r\n
      \r\n
Booker T's trademark sound set the mood for the sessions. Willie and cohorts mine a mellow groove here, sounding as if Willie is at home, sitting on his porch overlooking the beautiful Texas hill country.\r\n
      \r\n
Nelson's Stardust remains a genius-level creation as well as the icon's most commercially successful release, a truly gorgeous record infused with ultimate respect for composers and lyrics and many of the finest performances of Willie's career.

      - Willie Nelson's iconic 1962 debut album! Now a 45 RPM Analogue Productions reissue !\r\n

      - 180 gram 2 LP vinyl by Quality Record Pressings !\r\n

      - Sleeved in a deluxe Stoughton Printing tip-on gatefold jacket !\r\n
      \r\n
"Hello Walls", "Crazy", "Funny How Time Slips Away". These are some of the most memorable hits in the Willie Nelson songwriting canon. One of the most important musical artists in American history, a first-name giant like Elvis and Ella, Willie scored these and more hits with his debut album... and then I wrote. (Texas Monthly magazine ranks it N° 4 on their ranked list of all 145 Willie Nelson albums).\r\n
      \r\n
In 1961 Willie Nelson was finally in Nashville and tasting success after years of scraping by in various locales, on his gift for making heartaches and memories rhyme. Nelson's songs "Crazy", "Hello Walls" and "Funny How Time Slips Away" bcame huge hits for Patsy Cline, Faron Young and Billy Walker, respectively. The royalty checks fat ones were rolling in.\r\n
      \r\n
But Willie wanted more. These songs were his essence, and he wanted country music fans to know they poured out of his soul. The next fall, in 1962, he debuted his first full-length album with Liberty Records, and called it... and then I wrote. It was perhaps the most accomplished debut album in history.\r\n
      \r\n
"For many of us born in the six decades since, it's impossible to imagine a world in which these songs didn't exist. If you grew up in Texas, they were likely just about everywhere: at ballgames and cookouts and weddings and funerals, on road trips and the radio and every jukebox you've ever flipped through", writes Texas Monthly.\r\n
      \r\n
How best to apply the Analogue Productions reissue treatment to such a historic veteran country classic? Well, for starters, there was no doubt this classic deserved the wider-spaced grooves, improved cartridge tracking, and noticable reductions in distortion and high frequency loss that are testament to a 45 RPM four-sided AP reissue. So four glorious sides of 180 gram dead-silent vinyl pressed by our own Quality Record Pressings it would have to be. And the mastering ? Top-notch marks there as well. The capable hands of our engineer Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab by Acoustic Sounds working with the original master tape sounds amazing. The Mastering Lab by Acoustic Sounds upholds the quality standard achieved by the late Grammy-winning mastering engineer Doug Sax that made the brand famous.\r\n
      \r\n
It wasn't just the songs on the album that ascended to the country canon, including the three previously mentioned hits that appear back-to-back, but the deep cuts like "Mr. Record Man", "Undo the Right", and "Wake Me When It's Over"... and then I wrote isn't just one of the greatest debuts of all time it's one of the best singer-songwriter records ever recorded.\r\n
      \r\n
The sheen of the Nashville sound on this record is mercifully dialed down. It was produced by the head of Liberty's country division, Joe Allison, partly in Music Row's famous Quonset Hut studio and partly in Hollywood. Allison appreciated Willie's idiosyncratic singing style and kept his vocals out front, dropping the glossy chorus back in the mix and eschewing strings altogether.\r\n
      \r\n
The album produced one Top Ten single "Touch Me", yet none of the other three singles made the charts. Yet if it were released today, people would mistake it for a Willie's Greatest Hits record. Patsy Cline released her definitive version of "Crazy" in 1961, and in the years since it's been recorded by dozens of artists, from Linda Ronstadt to Chaka Khan to Austin emo band Mineral to, for the first time on this record, Willie himself.\r\n
      \r\n
It's the song that would take him from poet-picker to a composer worthy of inclusion in the Great American Songbook. The Analogue Productions reissue of... and then I wrote will find its place of honor at the top of the most cherished LPs in your music collection.
